FACTS SIS MFA Announcements
As part of FACTS’ MFA (Multi Factor Authentication) rollout, we will also introduce additional security enhancements.
These include:
- All staff and parent users will manage their own user accounts (username and password).
- Usernames must be unique across the entire FACTS platform—not just within an individual school’s database.
- Passwords must meet updated security standards.
- If a user’s credentials do not meet these requirements, they will be prompted to update them upon signing in.

Multi-Factor Authentication for FACTS SIS – Learning Outline
To answer your questions about MFA, we will be holding an “Ask Me Anything” webinar with Product Managers Tiffany Broughton, Greg Stuckey, Kemp Tucker, and Director of Cybersecurity Erik Brown. This webinar will be held this Monday, May 5 at 12pm CST. Even if you cannot attend live, please register so that you will receive the recording after.
