MAP Skills supports student progress between MAP Growth assessments. MAP Skills is a skills-mastery and progress-monitoring assessment that allows teachers to personalize instruction and drill down to targeted information that identifies specific skill gaps. It provides data for teachers and administrators to monitor what struggling students are missing and advanced students are ready to take on, then adjusts instruction and monitors student progress. MAP Skills also has an engaging student dashboard where students can see the skills they are working on and track their progress, which encourages an investment in their own learning. This assists teachers with more productive conversations with students and parents. MAP Skills is ideal as a Tier II Intervention program because it pinpoints the missing skills that are holding students back, so teachers can individualize instruction. And since it can be administered as often as needed, it helps teachers closely track student progress and see how they’re responding to interventions.
