An additional 12 to 15 schools will start using FACTS services in the 2013-2014 school year, and several more will come onboard in 2014-2015

Lincoln, Nebraska (PRWEB) – FACTS Management Company, a subsidiary of Nelnet, Inc., of Lincoln, Neb., has reached an agreement with the Diocese of Allentown, PA, that paves the way for many more schools in the diocese to start offering families FACTS’ tuition management, payment processing and financial aid assessment programs.

Seventeen schools in the Allentown diocese are already using FACTS programs and services. As a result of the new agreement, an additional 12 to 15 schools will start using FACTS services in the 2013–2014 school year, and several more will come onboard in 2014–2015. The Allentown diocese serves about 12,000 students at 43 elementary schools and high schools.

FACTS Management Company is the nation’s leading provider of tuition management and other financial services to nearly 6,500 private and faith-based schools and more than one million families, including more than 2,000 Catholic schools in more than 100 dioceses.

Although individual schools have the option to use FACTS programs and services, the agreement with the Allentown diocese defines product offerings and pricing for schools in the diocese, making it much easier for schools to come onboard. Diocesan officials are encouraging schools to do so.

“FACTS Management has been serving several schools in our diocese for years,” said Jeff Buck, diocesan controller. “Those schools have appreciated the convenience of FACTS services. We are very pleased to now be making those same services available to all of the schools in our diocese.”

Another diocesan official, Barbara Ann Shotwell, echoed Buck’s sentiment. “We are pleased to partner with FACTS to institutionalize awarding of tax credit scholarships,” said Shotwell, senior director of Stewardship and Development and administrator of the Eastern Pennsylvania Scholarship Foundation. “Utilizing the Grant and Aid program will save both our principals and our foundation staff many hours and align our process more closely to the requirements of our state tax credit programs.”

Great Year for FACTS Management

FACTS National Sales Manager Jim Owens described the Allentown agreement as “great news.”

“We consider it a vote of confidence in the quality and service we have been providing several Allentown schools for years that the entire diocese is now coming on board,” Owens said. “2013 is certainly proving to be a good year for FACTS Management Company. Last month, we announced an agreement with the 40 schools of the Diocese of Camden, N.J. Now, the 43 schools of the Allentown diocese will be taking advantage of FACTS’ services, as well. FACTS has been a long-time partner with Catholic dioceses and schools across the country.”

FACTS provides private and faith-based schools with such services as tuition management, payment processing, financial aid assessment and online donor management. The (Arch) Dioceses of Orlando, Wheeling-Charleston, Atlanta, Dallas, Baltimore, Birmingham, Santa Fe and many others have made FACTS their exclusive provider. FACTS supports Catholic education nationally as a Platinum Partner of the National Catholic Education Association.

Several things draw schools to FACTS Management, Owens said, including its superior technology, unmatched commitment to security and compliance, and the enthusiastic testimonials of so many schools that have saved money and reduced paperwork and administrative headaches by using FACTS’ products and services.
