With FACTS Giving, donors were able to interact with and give directly to schools, dioceses, and NCEA.

FACTS’ partnership with The National Catholic Educational Association (NCEA) for this year’s Many Gifts, One Nation: A Day of Giving to Catholic Schools resulted in $859,000 in donations to support Catholic schools around the country.

This year’s event was held on Jan. 30 during National Catholic Schools Week. FACTS partnered with NCEA to provide a new donation platform – FACTS Giving – to accept and process donations for the national day of giving. FACTS Giving was used to process 6,948 donations during this day-long event.

With FACTS Giving, donors were able to interact with and give directly to schools, dioceses, and NCEA. Schools and dioceses also had the opportunity to participate by customizing their giving pages. By being able to interact within the platform, schools could develop new donor connections and foster existing relationships.

“FACTS was proud to partner with NCEA for this year’s event, offering our new fundraising product to promote and process donations,” FACTS CEO Tim Tewes said. “We were honored to be a part of a day focused around helping schools succeed and look forward to next year’s national day of giving.”

Blessed Trinity Catholic High School in Roswell, Georgia received more than $26,000 in donations during this year’s day of giving. Their school found success through not only marketing the event ahead of schedule, but in providing live updates during the event.

“Throughout the day, we sent out videos from various areas of the school encouraging others to give,” Director of Institutional Advancement Chuck Oliver said. “Each time we published a video, we saw a spike in donations. By featuring different people from our school, we reached more people in our community.”

Blessed Trinity Catholic High School was one of 539 schools that benefited from this year’s day of giving to Catholic schools. The schools that received donations were a part of 136 different Catholic dioceses.

“The Day of Giving was a huge success. For an inaugural campaign, we are thrilled at the number of donors and that Catholic schools were able to have this opportunity to test a new fundraising idea and benefit from it,” NCEA President/CEO Dr. Thomas Burnford said. “Our partnership with FACTS helped make this idea a reality for Catholic schools. What a terrific example of the strength of Catholic schools and the generosity of the people who were impacted by them.”
