Screens are part of modern learning, but knowing when they help and when they get in the way is a skill educators are still developing. This workshop explores how to use technology intentionally, balancing digital tools with the hands on, human centered experiences students also need. Participants examine the research on screen use and learning outcomes, and work through practical strategies for making thoughtful decisions about when to plug in and when to step away. Educators leave with a clearer framework for integrating technology in ways that serve learning goals rather than distract from them.
