FACTS Partners with ACSI’s Children’s Tuition Fund to Support Nationwide EFTC Scholarship Access

Lincoln, Neb., Monday,July 6, 2026 – FACTS, a Nelnet company, today announced a national partnership with the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and its scholarship granting organization, the Children’s Tuition Fund (CTF). Through the partnership, CTF has selected FACTS Compass as its scholarship application and eligibility platform as it prepares for the launch of the Education Freedom Tax Credit (EFTC) program.

As the ACSI Children’s Tuition Fund expands beyond the six states it currently serves, the organization is preparing to support students and families nationwide through the opportunities created by EFTC. CTF will serve both ACSI member schools and non-member schools, increasing access to educational options for families.

Both organizations bring substantial experience to the partnership. CTF has spent 25 years connecting donors, schools, and families through scholarship programs, and FACTS has spent more than 35 years helping schools manage tuition, financial aid, and family application processes. Together, the organizations are working to help schools, families, and scholarship administrators prepare for one of the most significant expansions of educational choice in recent history.

The EFTC program, scheduled to begin in 2027, will create new scholarship opportunities for students nationwide. As participation grows, scholarship granting organizations and schools will face new operational, compliance, and reporting responsibilities. The partnership is designed to help them navigate these requirements efficiently.

“At the Children’s Tuition Fund, our mission has always been to help families access educational opportunities through scholarship programs, and we see the EFTC as a chance to expand that impact nationwide,” said Temple Weiss, President of the ACSI Education Foundation. “As we prepare to serve schools and families, we wanted a partner that understands both the scholarship landscape and the operational realities schools face every day. FACTS brings the experience and the school relationships to help us do this well.”

The Children’s Tuition Fund, a ministry of ACSI, has provided $50 million in scholarships over the past 5 years with awards to nearly 10,000 students. Many of the Christian schools CTF works with already use FACTS for financial aid management, payment plans, application and enrollment tools, and student information systems, which means families applying for EFTC scholarships will see a more connected experience.

“The Children’s Tuition Fund has built a strong track record serving students, families, donors, and schools, and we’re glad they selected FACTS Compass for this next chapter,” said Matt Richardson, Director of Scholarship Granting Organization Services at FACTS. “By connecting scholarship administration with systems many schools already use, we can help reduce administrative burden so schools can stay focused on serving students.”
