Instructional Strategies

Teachers are discovering new insights on a regular basis. We share the most effective strategies and the best practices to help ensure that the standards-based objective is displayed, communicated, measurable, manageable, relevant, and transferable. Teachers will learn to lead each student to mastery while honoring both internal and external thinkers by incorporating consistent routines and providing multiple, scaffolded exposures. Emphasis is placed on gradual release methodology activities to engage students leading to mastery. Student misconceptions are addressed via appropriate use of questions, prompts, cues, and direct explanation.
