This toolkit aligns three of the domains from Danielson’s Framework for Teaching to three of our Core/Fundamental toolkits: Unit Planning/Lesson Planning-Design & Delivery, Environment & Engagement and Instruction. Schools who utilize Danielson’s Framework as an evaluative instrument can utilize this toolkit to acquaint teachers with a series of “look fors.” These are what observers/evaluators will hope to see, hear, and notice during a classroom visit. Through the implementation of research-based strategies, the “look fors” will become more apparent with the ultimate goal being a classroom transformed into a model of excellence of teaching and learning.
