K-12 STEM

Effective STEM instruction capitalizes on students’ early interest, identifies and builds on what they know, and provides them with experiences to engage them in the practices of science. Three components that impact the quality of STEM instruction are teachers, school environment, and curriculum-instruction. We will work with teachers to explore the best practices in these three areas as well as unpack Seven STEM Strategies that when incorporated into instruction – will ensure that quality STEM instruction is taking place.
