Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) 

A leader who excels in managing a schoolwide multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) establishes a culture of collaboration and develops tools, systems, and processes to identify needs of individual students and groups of students and provides resources and opportunities to support academic and behavioral growth in a holistic, including data-informed, manner. Student progress is checked using multiple data inputs, discussed by relevant stakeholders, and adjustments are made to ensure continuous growth and improvement so that every student can reach their full potential per the school’s mission and vision for student success.
