Partnership Background

CBORD has been a terrific partner for FACTS (formerly CD2 Learning), dating back to 2018. The CBORD team was seeking a single learning solution that could accommodate training needs for their internal employees as well as their clients. Both CBORD employees and their customers required easy workflows for self-registration of eLearning courses, in-person and virtual events, hybrid learning, and subscription-based packages.

Extended Enterprise Offering

The CBORD Learning Center leverages FACTS’ e-commerce technology for self-registration of e-learning classes, in-person classes, virtual classes, and hybrid learning events. CBORD employees and customers can browse lists of open classes that are made available based upon their access within the site. This model allows the flexibility to offer employee-only content, customer-only content, or in some cases, content that is available to both customers and employees, all within the same site and course catalog. Registrations that are monetized provide a variety of payment options, including a purchase order workflow.

Gamification & Rewards

Gamification and rewards are key drivers of CBORD’s success. Learners are awarded badges as they reach various milestones within the platform. Each time a badge is earned, the learner will receive an email notification congratulating them on their accomplishment and encouraging them to post and share their achievement within their networks. In addition, accumulation of these badges puts learners in the running to earn the “Top Learner Award” for additional benefits!

Hybrid Learning

The CBORD team leverages simple hybrid learning strategies to maximize the impact for their instructor-led trainings. Learners are assigned prework material to review before the event and knowledge-check assessments after the event. The completion of all these activities –the prework, attending the session, and the post-assessment – will trigger a certificate of completion for that training topic.
