FACTS Ed at NCEA 2021 – Where Are We Headed? Determining a PD Direction, Then Selecting and Supporting the Right PD for Your School

Join Dr. Susan Abelein from FACTS Ed as she presents at the NCEA 2021 conference. In this session, leaders will move through a series of short exercises. First, they’ll consider the school’s current students and consider curriculum, instruction, and assessment as a basis for determining what professional development is needed to improve teaching and learning. Then, they’ll consider the various types of professional development that are out there and what the research says about these different approaches to professional development. Last, they’ll talk through school-level supports to ensure the professional development sticks.
