Progress Monitoring and Beyond

Each unit consists of 3-5 assignments that includes a pre-assessment of the student’s performance, progress monitors development on each assignment, and a post assessment to ensure learning has occurred at adequate levels before the student progresses to the next level. If post assessment results are not favorable, re-teaching of the instructional unit includes a series of academic interventions. The interventions provide comprehensive approach to the scholastic content at the same level of rigor.

Following the student’s initial assessment with MAP Growth, summary reports detail student activity to monitor progress, plan for instruction, and share with classroom teachers and parents. Student skills are aligned to grade level expectations. The individualized nature of the program ensures that each student receives differentiated instruction and resources that are necessary to move a child to grade level proficiency as quickly as possible.
