Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I log in to customize my school/diocese donation page?
- Log in to your FACTS Giving account at https://factsmgtadmin.com/login.
- Check your email for a message from FACTS with “your temporary FACTS login link” as the subject; use the link or passcode to authenticate and open your account.
- From the dashboard, go to the Giving tab and choose Appeals.
- Hover over your 2023 appeal and click Edit Appeal (pencil icon).
- Complete the information requested (Title, About, More Details, Goal, Logos, Images).
- Save Changes
- Preview your page, then copy/paste the URL at the top of your browser to share your school’s appeal page link with donors.
- When will the link for my school/diocese donation page be able to accept donations?
Your appeal page URL will go live to accept donations from noon (Eastern) on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 to noon (Eastern) on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
- What forms of payment will be accepted?
Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit or debit cards are accepted. ACH transactions (bank account and routing number) are also accepted.
- Are donors able to make a pledge or set up a recurring gift?
Not during the Day of Giving.
- Will donor information be used by FACTS in the future?
No.
- What information will be provided to schools/dioceses about donors and the gifts they are making?
A report of each donor’s information and gift amount will be available through the FACTS Giving portal, which will be accessible for 30 days after the checks have been mailed to your school/diocese.
- Is there a transaction/processing fee that will be taken out of the donations?
- 2.9% of the gross donation amount plus $0.30 for each donation transaction processed during the National Day of Giving using Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card.
- 3.5% of the gross donation amount plus $0.30 for each donation transaction processed during the National Day of Giving using an American Express card.
- 1% of the gross donation amount plus $0.30 for each donation transaction processed during National Day of Giving for ACH payments.
- There will also be a flat $1.50 shipping/handling fee withheld from the amount remitted from each mailed check.
- How and when will schools/dioceses receive the donated funds?
For each school and diocese that received donations, a check will be mailed 60-90 days after the Day of Giving.
- Can our school/diocese use FACTS Giving after the Day of Giving?
Yes. Schools will have the option to purchase the FACTS Giving product after the Day of Giving. You can learn more about FACTS Giving here.
- What if I don’t remember my password to log in to the portal and access my school’s appeal page?
Go to https://factsmgtadmin.com/login/ and click the Reset Password option. Enter your email address and then watch for an email from FACTS ([email protected]) with instructions for resetting your password.
- Someone else at my school customized our appeal page last year. How do I get access?
There’s a good chance you already have it! Account admins were updated based on the NCEA member list. Please go to https://factsmgtadmin.com/login/ and click the Reset Password option. Enter your email address and then watch for an email from FACTS ([email protected]) with instructions for setting up your password. If you don’t receive the email or run into any issues, please email the team at [email protected].
