As our daily routines continue to be impacted by the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus), we want you to know that FACTS remains committed to serving you and your families. Below are just some of the ways we’re working to protect our associates and provide additional assistance to our partner schools.

FACTS Associates Working from Home

Our business continuity and incident response teams have been working diligently to transition our client support teams to work from home. This allows us to follow the new Coronavirus Guidelines for America, pertaining to groups of 10 or more, and continue to serve you and your families.

While this transition may result in longer than normal hold times, we are confident that the preparations we are making today will help us continue to serve our partner schools effectively throughout this crisis.

Additional Resources for Schools

We understand the complexities that exist as schools prioritize the safety of students, while also seeking to offer virtual learning opportunities. To support you in these efforts, FACTS is offering a recorded webinar presenting information on the details involved in an unplanned campus closure.

The Campus Closure Checklist webinar features FACTS professionals sharing insight into creating effective communications, configuring classes for online instruction in FACTS SIS, school business office practices, and payment processing considerations in the event of an unplanned school closure.

In addition, for FACTS Student Information System (SIS) clients who are planning on closing campus — we’ve created a step-by-step guide to help you effectively communicate with your families using the SIS and configure classes for online instruction. You’ll need to login to review this resource.

Non-Essential Travel Cancelled

Finally, in an effort to help protect our associates and prevent the unintentional spread of COVID-19, FACTS has suspended all non-essential business travel, until such time as the risk of further outbreaks has significantly diminished.

On behalf of all of us at FACTS, we appreciate your support as we focus on the health and safety of our associates, and our shared communities.

While the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) is still considered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to be a low risk in the U.S., FACTS is closely monitoring the situation and taking proactive precautions to ensure the health and safety of our associates and clients.

In addition to empowering our associates to stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms of an illness, FACTS has placed our business continuity and incident response teams on high alert. FACTS regularly tests our business continuity plans, and FACTS associates are prepared to continue to serve clients utilizing remote technology should an outbreak substantially impact the school and/or daycare programs within one of our corporate communities.

Finally, out of an abundance of caution, FACTS will be suspending the majority of business travel until such time as the risk of further outbreaks is substantially diminished. If you have specific questions about FACTS’ appearance at an upcoming conference or event, please feel free to reach out to your FACTS representative or fill out our contact us form.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we take these steps to help protect our associates and clients in an effort to prevent the unintentional spread of COVID-19.
